Jamaica on legalising Online Casino Gambling
Jamaica would be the next emergent country to make all online gambling completely legalised for the gamblers. Prime Minister Bruce Golding further shows his inclination towards using the gambling money for funding the areas requiring financial assistance. On reviewing the 2003 report on gambling, the PM concluded that the legalisation of casino gambling can also significantly contribute towards the upliftment of the country in various aspects. He says that though casino gambling is not appreciated by many individuals in the country, but at the same time it is table games which are forbidden to be played. The improved technology with many slot machines into place today offers various games other than table games.
Whilst addressing to the Parliament, Golding indicates an investment of 2.8 billion dollars that has already been secured and more than 6,000 hotel rooms will now be available with the help of development deals. Besides, any money generated thereon will be moved on to a separate relief fund for education, health and security.
