Rules for Texas Hold’em poker
Let us follow the rules of Texas Hold'em poker so that you are able to play the game in a correct fashion if you happen to visit any of the UK online poker rooms.
Rule 1 : There are two main types of blinds - the big and the small. The former is equal to the minimum bet placed at the playing table. The small blind is half that of the big blind.
Rule 2 : After each hand, the player(s), contributing these blinds, rotates on position to the left.
Rule 3 : In a tournament play, ante, an additional forced bet, is sometimes used apart from the rotating blind.
Now, let's follow other basic rules of the Texas hold'em poker game one by one.
* Most of the limit Hold'em gambling games include a three bet limit every round hence the term limit. It means that there can be maximum three raises every round of betting. In such a scenario, the round denotes a series of bets, checks, raises, calls and folds during a single betting (or non-betting) session.
* In the No Limit and Pot Limit version of Texas Hold'em gambling game, there's no limit, as the term suggests, on the number of raises that a poker player can make.
* Players are free to employ any combination of their respective hole cards and the community cards for the possible five-card hand.
* Players can utilise
- Their three community cards and both of their hole cards,
- Their four community cards and one hole card,
- Their all five community cards
…to form the best possible five-card hand

The best possible hand: Royal Flush.
The next best possible hands in that order are:
- Straight Flush
- Four of a Kind
- Full House
- Flush
- Straight
- Three of a Kind
- Two Pairs
- One Pair
- High Card
